Third edition of the Belgian Offshore Days will take place in Ostend on 29 & 30 March
Ostend will host the third edition of the Belgian Offshore Days. The exhibition brings together Key players in the Offshore Wind Industry and will take place on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th March 2017.
The concept of ‘Belgian Offshore Days’ gives the offshore wind energy industry a forum and encourages collaboration between Belgian and International companies.
This B2B event for companies , active in the offshore wind industry, grew this year into a two-day event.
On the first day (29th March), 30 exhibitors will present their activities and potential for wind farms in Europe. This day is reserved for concessionaires of Belgian, French, British and German wind farms. On the second day (30th March), the exhibition will be open to professionals. Registration is possible via www.belgianoffshoredays.be.
Belgian Offshore Cluster
The “Belgian Offshore Day”s is organized by the association Belgian Offshore Cluster (BOC). Last year, Belgian Offshore Days received 250 visitors. This year, the number of exhibitors has almost doubled, and an international audience will also be invited. Therefore, the organization expects an even bigger attendance at this edition.
In order to present the companies in a professional manner, the event is moved to a larger location: Sea P'lace Ostend (Hippodrome). Guests may expect a full experience with, among other things, a helicopter demonstration, a VIP dinner and multiple networking opportunities with "keynote" speakers.
Christophe Dhaene, Chairman of the Belgian Offshore Cluster, explains: "We are very pleased with the great interest of Belgian companies in the offshore industry. The number of members of BOC has increased by 35% since last year. There is a good mix of small and large companies."
The exhibition is free for professionals, but registration is required. You can request a registration code at one of the participating exhibitors via www.belgianoffshoredays.be
